Step 2 Getting Started

Now we have filled out the form,

Let's package the equipment for shipping.

A few simple steps will ensure your equipment arrives safely at APS:

1. Please remove Battery and memory card.

2. If sending a body and lens:

• Please remove the lens before shipping.
• Install body cap and lens caps if available.

3. Place equipment in a plastic bag and seal to protect from dust and moisture.

4. Pack your equipment carefully along with the APS Equipment Repair Form-

• Place in sturdy shipping box with at least a few inches of packing material between each item and all sides of the box. Pack carefully so that multiple items inside the box do not touch each other during shipping.
• Use enough packing material so that items inside box will remain suspended and held in place by the packing material during shipping. When closing the shipping box you should be slightly compressing the packing material.
